Who We Are
KWW - Nepal
Kyokushin World Way Nepal β officially known as the International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan Kyokushin World Way Nepal (IKO-KWW Nepal) β is a leading full-contact karate organization dedicated to strengthening the martial spirit and holistic development of its students. Grounded in the traditional values of Kyokushin karate, the organization emphasizes discipline, respect, perseverance, mental toughness, and physical excellence through systematic training in kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (full-contact sparring).
KWW-Nepal was founded and introduced in 2019 by Sihan Ganesh Prasad Chaudhary, who serves as the Branch Chief of Nepal and Chief Trainer. Under his visionary leadership, Nepal became an officially affiliated member of the international Kyokushinkaikan Kyokushin World Way (KWW) network. The organization established its central office in Ranipokhari, Kathmandu, laying a strong foundation for the structured development of full-contact karate in Nepal.
In recognition of his contribution to the growth of Kyokushin karate, Sihan Ganesh Prasad Chaudhary has now been appointed as the Asian Representative of KWW, marking a significant milestone not only for KWW-Nepal but also for the Nepalese martial arts community as a whole.
Today, KWW-Nepal represents a strong and expanding karate family of over 1,000 registered practitioners, supported by approximately 40 affiliated dojos across the country. These include training centers operating in schools as well as independent dojo areas, ensuring accessibility and consistent standards of Kyokushin training nationwide.
From its early beginnings, KWW-Nepal has remained focused on fostering excellence in full-contact karate, developing athletes of all ages and skill levels, and representing Nepal with pride in national-level competitions. With a clear vision, disciplined methodology, and growing international recognition, KWW-Nepal continues to expand the reach, quality, and impact of Kyokushin karate in Nepal, shaping strong individuals and responsible citizens through the way of karate.
